This Indian native is full of surprises. A kaleidoscope of colors - from brown to purple, red to green, yellow to - will show up in its leaves, depending on its environment. High lighting, Co2 and fertilization offer optimal care for this picky plant.

Grow this versatile plant submerged or out of water - in soil or not - and it'll take root. High lighting keeps it short and compact with plenty of lateral shoots to cut and replant. Cutting horizontally can work, but growth takes longer.

There are quite a lot of little plants packed into this TC cup! Would be great to create a nice dense carpet of these guys in a higher- tech aquarium.
